My clients often ask the same questions, so I have compiled them here.
If you still have any questions that need clarification, I will be happy to help you. Below you will find a form for your question. I will respond as soon as possible.
Let’s create beauty together!
We feel awkward in front of the camera — will that be an issue?
Not at all! Most couples start out feeling nervous, especially grooms, who often think a photoshoot will be uncomfortable. But after the session, they usually say how surprisingly easy and natural it felt.
I prepare references in advance that fit your personality and temperament — by following your Instagram and getting a sense of what you enjoy, how you spend time together, and whether you love bold ideas or prefer something calmer.
During the shoot I guide you with simple, natural actions, always in a way that feels comfortable for you. I also shoot a lot of frames in every moment, so there’s always that one perfect shot where you look relaxed and genuine.
Usually it takes just 20–30 minutes to forget about the camera and realize how effortless the whole process can be.
How long do we have to wait for the photographs?
A preview is delivered within 7 working days, and the complete gallery with the film within 2 months.
If everything is ready earlier (which often happens), I’ll happily send it right away — no need to wait until the deadline.
Can we choose our pictures?
No — the selection is part of my job. A wedding day usually brings 7,000–12,000 photos (plus second shooter images), which would be overwhelming for you to go through.
With my experience and professional tools, I carefully curate a collection that tells your story in the most natural, harmonious way.
You can trust that I’ll choose the moments where you look your best, with flattering angles and a diverse set of images without unnecessary repetition.
Do you edit all the photographs?
Sure. I can also provide RAW files of the selected images — or even the full set of photos taken — upon request.
The curated selection included in your package is fully edited in my unique style, all in color.
In addition, I create a smaller collection of black & white edits, choosing the images that look especially strong and timeless in this vintage style.
Why should we do an engagement session?
An engagement session is the perfect way to get to know me and experience my photography style before the big day. It helps build trust and makes the wedding itself feel more relaxed and natural.
For many couples, it’s also their very first photoshoot, so it’s much better to practice in advance rather than have the wedding be that first experience. You’ll see that a photoshoot is not difficult or intimidating — I don’t ask for stiff, fashion-style posing. Instead, I suggest simple actions you can do together, in your own rhythm and manner, so you feel comfortable and authentic.
I shoot a lot of frames in every moment, which means I always capture that one second where you look the most natural, relaxed, and timeless. The result is not only more confidence for your wedding day, but also a set of beautiful photos outside the wedding context — perfect for your website, invitations, or thank-you cards.
How do payments work?
Once you sign the contract, all payment details are included there. To secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee of €300 is required, usually paid online via Wise or by transfer to a Spanish bank account.
This fee blocks the date for you and compensates for the fact that I turn away other potential clients for that day.
The remaining balance is paid on the wedding day itself, at any convenient moment.
Do you also photograph engagement sessions or rehearsal dinners?
Yes, I do — no problem at all. You can find all the details about these additional services at the bottom of the Price List page.
The only thing to note is that if someone books me for a wedding on the same day as your requested session, I may kindly arrange for my trusted second photographer (who works in the same style as I do) to cover your session instead, so that I can be present at the wedding. Thank you for your understanding.
Why do I need a second photographer?
A second photographer ensures wider coverage and different creative angles. While I focus on one part of the story, they can capture moments happening at the same time elsewhere. This is especially important if you’re getting ready in separate locations or simply want the reassurance that no detail is missed.
Since I also film video during the day, there are moments when I’m focused on motion rather than stills — and here the second photographer steps in to capture the photo version at the same time. For example, while one of us photographs the groom’s reaction at the altar, the other captures the bride walking down the aisle, or one films the confetti toss while the other secures the perfect photo. Together we make sure every angle of your story is covered.
Do you travel for weddings? What about extra costs?
I’m based in Girona and mainly work across Catalonia, but I also travel for weddings all over Spain, Europe, and beyond.
For any wedding that takes place more than 1.5 hours from Girona, travel expenses are required. These include round-trip flights if needed, local transportation (arranged with the couple or covered by taxi), meals (€90 per day, usually for two days — the travel day there and the travel day back), and a minimum of two nights’ hotel accommodation.
All details are discussed and agreed upon in advance.
Should we provide dinner for the photographers?
Yes. A wedding day is very long, and both I and, if present, my second photographer need a proper meal to stay energized.
During the cocktail hour I may also take a short break to grab a bite. I don’t drink alcohol while working.
Do you do family formals and portraits?
Yes, absolutely. While my main focus is on natural and candid moments, I know how meaningful family portraits are. We’ll take as much time as needed to capture all the important groupings.
The only thing I ask is to have someone from your side — a friend, family member, or coordinator — to help organize the groups, so I can fully focus on the photography.
Who is part of your team?
I work with a small circle of trusted second photographers I know personally and whose style matches mine. For every wedding, I prepare them carefully: I send a clear brief with the couple’s wishes, timeline, references, and even their photos and social media, so the second photographer arrives fully prepared and confident.
I also have reliable editors who help me during peak season, which allows me to stay focused on shooting and keep my energy balanced. I always do the selection of images myself to preserve my storytelling vision. I edit the preview photos personally to set the look and color tone for the full gallery. My team then continues the editing under my guidance, using my presets, and I check every delivered image. As for films, I always edit those myself.
Working with a trusted team also allows us to deliver photos faster than the standard timeline in the package — very often, couples receive their galleries earlier than expected.
What if we’d like to change the editing style or influence the mood of the film?
If you have references for color editing that you love, you can send them even before the wedding — this helps me understand your preferences from the start. After receiving your preview within 7 working days, you’ll also have the chance to give feedback and request adjustments before I begin editing the full gallery.
For the film, please share your favorite songs or style references as early as possible. These materials guide me in creating the right mood and direction. If editing has already begun, it won’t be possible to include new elements, so it’s important to send them in advance.
Can we get the RAW photos and all the unedited video footage?
Yes. You can request the RAW files of the selected images included in your package, or even the full set of RAW photos taken during the wedding, as well as all the unedited video footage.
To do this, please let me know before the wedding, and then repeat your request within two weeks after receiving the edited gallery and film.
After this two-week period, RAW files and unedited footage may no longer be available, as the amount of data is very large and I clear space on my drives, keeping only the final edited versions.
How can we be sure that no data will be lost during or after the wedding?
I work with two cameras of the same brand, Canon R6 Mark II, using different lenses. If something happened to one, I always have the other as backup.
In addition, each camera has two memory card slots, so every photo is automatically saved on two cards at the same time.
When I return home, I make backups on two external hard drives that I keep in different places.
And after selecting the photos and preparing the preview, I also upload them to the cloud for extra security.
How can we be sure you will attend the wedding? And what would happen if you couldn’t come?
In all my practice I have never missed a wedding, even on days when I wasn’t feeling well.
I know how to take care of myself and what to take to recover quickly and be in top shape during the celebration.
But if for some force majeure reason I couldn’t attend, I would arrange a trusted photographer to take my place and, of course, the booking fee would be refunded.
Any wedding day tips for us?
- Parasols & fans for guests — they help everyone stay cool in the sun and also look elegant in pictures.
- Plan a couple’s session — set aside at least 20 minutes (ideally 30) close to sunset, when the light is soft and golden.
- Keep spaces tidy — ask guests to store their personal belongings in bedrooms so the main areas used for photos look clean and elegant.
- Prepare your details — have ready the items you’d like photographed: rings, shoes, jewelry, invitations, vow book, perfume, cufflinks, tie, watch, etc.
- Heel protectors — if the venue has grass or gravel, small plastic protectors for heels will make it much easier to walk.
- Trusted vendors — if you need recommendations for wedding planners, florists, catering, makeup artists, or other professionals, just let me know and I’ll be happy to share contacts I trust.
- Timing buffer — leave 10–15 minutes of “breathing space” between parts of the day to avoid feeling rushed and to allow room for spontaneity.
- Personal touches — prepare small details (like a letter to each other or a gift) that look beautiful on camera and add depth to your story.
- Family photo helper — assign someone you trust to gather people during group and family portraits, organizing them by groups. Ideally, this person can also introduce me early in the day to your closest family members and friends, so I know who is most important to include.
