ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Paola Mats, I am 36 years old and I live in Girona with my little daughter and my couple.

I am in love with the art of photography and videography. Photography is my passion, which allows me to capture the beauty of the world in its diversity. For me, every frame is an opportunity to tell a story, to make people stop for a moment and relive emotions.

Videography is another way to stop time, capture movement and sounds, and create a vivid memory. I love working with video because it allows me to convey the atmosphere of the event more fully, capture every minute detail and emphasize its significance.

I mostly work in Catalonia, but I also travel abroad for major projects.

EARLIER

At the age of 15, I started preparing for admission to the best university in Moscow at the Faculty of Design. 3 years of classes in drawing, painting, composition, art history and other disciplines and I am among the selected students.

6 years of study in the university of which the first two years were incredibly difficult and many students were expelled for failing. For 4 years I worked in various Architectural bureaus as an interior designer and for 6 years I conducted my own private practice.

Until one day I started looking for something that would inspire me. That’s how I came to photography and videography. And that’s what I love with all my heart.
